Privacy and analytics
The short version: I use Google Analytics to see which work people actually look at. No ads, no profiles, nothing sold.

What I collect
Google Analytics 4 records the pages you view, your approximate location from your IP, your device and browser, how you got here, and a few specific actions: opening a project, clicking my email or LinkedIn, and sending the contact form. It sets one first-party cookie (_ga) so a second visit is not counted as a second person.
What I do not
Google Signals and ad personalisation are both switched off, so none of this feeds advertising, and GA4 does not store your IP address. If you send me a message, the name, email, and text go to my inbox through Resend. That never enters analytics, and it never goes to anyone else.
How long I keep it
Analytics data expires after 14 months. Messages stay in my inbox until I clear them.
Opting out
Any tracker blocker, or Google’s own opt-out add-on, stops this site reporting. Nothing here breaks if you block it.
